PTM 820 ECM/ECU Test Solutions Product Announcement April 20, 2009

PTM Electronics is pleased to announce the PTM820 Line of ECM/ECU Test solutions.  The PTM820 Series offers suppliers and remanufacturers of Automotive Electronics cost effective test development and testing of a wide range of automotive ECU’s including ABS, Engine and Power Train controllers, HVAC, Body, IPC’s, Telematics.  The modular system includes Windows based test development software and automotive specific hardware for simulating the ECU environment.  Test Development Software is database driven with powerful tools for specifying test sequences, parameters, device connectivity and comprehensive part number management.  A vision system option is available for vision assisted testing.
      

Debug capability and operational logging and reporting compliment the test system utilizing a MySQL database.  Hardware includes automotive communications, flexible I/O, programmable power control, counter/timers, adaptive wave form generation, isolated programmable resistor simulators, relay controls and DC motor simulators.  Input and output signaling is at automotive levels including 42 volt capability.  Intelligent I/O provides real time repetitive measurements and high speed event simulations without PC intervention.  All cards are flash programmable for updates and allow for custom functionality.  The highly configurable 820 System is suitable for End of Line, Design Verification, Remanufacturing and Service test environments.  The 820 System is offered as a portable tester, bench top tester, and rack mountable test controller.
